Photogold is a company set up by photographer David Rankin to market his landscape pictures. David has set up his own digital studio to scan, edit and print his images. David has 12 years experience in professional photography .

He started as a freelance for local newspapers in North London and Hertfordshire , doing features , sport and advertising work . Then he started working for picture agencies doing celebrities and bands in concert in London . He also supplied pictures for various PR companies . In 1991 he moved back to Scotland and worked for newspapers and picture agencies . He set up this website 3 years ago .

David can suppy PR and publicity pictures on a 24 hour turnaround basis . All the pictures can be posted on this website for selection . For more details phone 01324 - 883305 or email us .

Photographer David Rankin offers a stock and commercial photography service. All of the pictures of Scotland's castles and scenery on the website are available for stock , advertising and editorial use . Pictures can be supplied as transparencies or colour negatives or in digital format. Digital files can be supplied on a Zip disk or CD or sent by e-mail, FTP or modem . This website features over 150 beautiful images of the historical castles,glens,lochs and scenery of Scotland.  The heroes of Scotland include Braveheart and Robert the Bruce .
The pictures are divided into three main sections - castles , scenery and clans . Our newest section is the pop collection with pictures of bands bands live in concert in Scotland .
