Greyfriars Bobby , Edinburgh

In 1858, John Gray was buried in old Greyfriars Churchyard . His dog , Bobby , kept guard over his grave for 14 years until his own death . In 1873 this fountain and statue was erected in memory of Greyfriars Bobby .
